Objective |
Students will be kept up to date of current economic events. |
Resources |
Pre recorded news cast from either CNN, Fox News, CNBC, ABC, NBC, or any other relevant newscast. A variety of news programs will be shown to give the students a broad range of experiences. |
Activity |
Students will watch a newscast from the previous day. They will write down the headlines which relate to economics and give a brief explanation of the story. Students will have time to ask about current events they don't understand and debate the merits of their points of view on these stories. |
Evaluation |
Students will turn in their completed sheet of events with descriptions. Their participation in the debate will also be evaluated. |
